Installation

Shortcuts Toolbox is a downloadable macOS application. No coding required — just download, configure, and run.

Prerequisites

macOS Sequoia (15) or later
Apple Shortcuts app installed
Optional: AI features work out of the box on Apple silicon Macs with Apple Intelligence turned on (macOS 26 or later). You can also add OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, a local model server such as Ollama or LM Studio, or any OpenAI-compatible service

Download the latest release from the homepage.

Unzip and move Shortcuts Toolbox to your Applications folder.

Launch the app — it will guide you through initial configuration.

Once you’re installed, head to the Quick Start to go from launch to your first scheduled shortcut in minutes.
