Quick Start

After installing Shortcuts Toolbox, here’s how to get productive fast.

Activate

Start your free trial or enter your license key to unlock your Shortcuts Toolbox instance.

Explore Your Library

Open the Shortcuts Library to browse, search, and run your shortcuts. Open any shortcut’s detail view to inspect its metadata, view its dependency graph, and download backups.

Schedule Your First Job

Pick a shortcut and schedule it to run on an interval, a cron expression, or at a specific time — the shortcut should run on your Mac, since that’s where the scheduler executes it. The scheduler tracks every run and its results in the Audit Log.

Optional: Add AI

Add an API key under Settings → AI Providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google), choose which shortcuts the AI can see and run from the Shortcuts Library, then go to AI → Chat and ask it to run shortcuts, explain them, schedule tasks, or generate reports.
